"You ready to go?" Tony asked, walking into your room as he fixed his cuff links.

You looked up with a smile across your lips, nodding your head yes. The two of you were going to a fancy award ceremony. Neither of you really wanted to go but Tony was up for an award and no one else was available so he asked you to be his plus one. You had known each for almost six years, and in those six years you dated for two until he met Pepper.

Although Tony and Pepper were no longer together now, it looked as though he was still in love with her. Which made it hard for you to be near him, because you were still in love with him. So you were grinning and bearing it. It was only for tonight anyway.

"Having fun?" Tony asked, trying to put on a happy face for you.

"Of course. Thanks for inviting me." you politely answered.

"You're welcome." he smiled, putting his arm around your waist, posing for the cameras.

These actions confused you, did he like you as more than a friend or was he just trying to convince the world he had moved on? But it didn't really matter to you. You were here for Tony no matter what, he's your best friend and no one could ever replace him in your heart.

"I'd just like to thank this beautiful woman for accompanying me tonight. She's my best friend and I love her so much, thank you (Name). Thank you everybody." Tony said, looking only at you as he accepted his award. You smiled, wishing those words were true.

"Thanks again for bringing me tonight." you said as the two of you approached your bedroom door.

"No problem. I guess I'll see you tomorrow." he paused. "Oh yeah, here this is for you." he said, handing you the award.

"What? Are you kidding me? I can't accept this." you blushed, throwing the award back at him.

"But I dedicated it to you. I even told them to put your name on it if I won." he said, putting it in your hands. You turned it around to read the label and your heart stopped as he read the words aloud. "Will you marry me (Name)?"

"Are you serious?" you asked, shocked and confused.

"Of course. I love you (Name)." Tony grinned.

"You're joking." you chuckled nervously.

"I'm not (Name)." he paused, getting down on one knee, pulling a small box from his jacket, and opening it to reveal a small diamond engagement ring. You began to cry. "I'll ask you again and again until you say yes." he laughed. "Will you marry me?"

"Yes. Yes, I will marry you." you smiled, tears still rolling down your cheeks. He placed the ring on your finger as he stood up. You hugged and kissed him, not wanting to ever let him go.

*Extended Ending*

One year later you were married. You walked down the aisle when you were seven months pregnant with identical twin boys. They were born in the later afternoon of your birthday. Their names are Robert and Dominic.

"Robby! Nicky! It's time to go to school boys!" you yelled as you walked into the living room where the five year olds were playing with their father.

"They're not going." Tony stated.

"And why not?" you asked.

"Because I need to beat them. Why are they so good at this?" Tony asked, confused as the twins laughed at him.

"It's just a game Tony." you said.

"But they shouldn't be able to beat their father. I must win." he stated, very determined.

"Maybe if it was chess but it’s just a dancing game." you laughed, watching your husband make a fool of himself.

"Just Dance is not just a dancing game." he tried to defend the game.

"Yeah, for kids. Your argument is invalid. Boys lets go." you called the twins.

"Bye Dad." they said as their father continued to play.

-Eight hours later-

"Yes! I did it! I beat them! High score! Yeah!" Tony shouted, jumping around full of joy.

"You know that was just one song right? There are many other dances." you laughed. Tony frowned.

"I give up. They win." he threw his hands up in the air before falling onto the couch next to you.

"Poor baby." you mocked before pulling his face in close to kiss him. He pulled away.

"You know what, I'm not done." he shot back up and continued the game. You continued to laugh at your husband as he tried and failed to beat the high scores the boys had set.
